REQUEST FOR SPECIAL MEETING OF THE GOVERNING BODY TO THE HONORABLE MAYOR, ARTIE STUTEVILLE, OF THE CITY OF PAOLA, KANSAS: We, the undersigned being duly elected, qualified, and acting Councilmembers of the City of Paola, Kansas, hereby respectfully request you to call a special council meeting of the Governing Body of the City of Paola, Kansas to be held in the Second Floor Training Room at the Paola Fire Station at 202 E Wea Street in Paola on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at 6:00 pm, for the following purpose: • Review of the 2010 Economic Development Strategic Plan Update by Janet McRae, Miami County Economic Development Director. • Review of the proposed 2010 Street Improvement Plan. • Review of the new Code of Procedure for Kansas Cities prepared by the League of Kansas Municipalities. • Review of changes to the alcohol ordinances regarding temporary permits and festivals. • Other.
