REQUEST FOR SPECIAL MEETING OF THE GOVERNING BODY TO THE HONORABLE MAYOR, ARTIE STUTEVILLE, OF THE CITY OF PAOLA, KANSAS: We, the undersigned being duly elected, qualified, and acting Councilmembers of the City of Paola, Kansas, hereby respectfully request you to call a special council meeting of the Governing Body of the City of Paola, Kansas to be held in the Second Floor Training Room at the Paola Fire Station at 202 E Wea Street in Paola on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 6:00 pm, for the following purpose: • Discuss proposed KDOT Five Year Strategic Plan. • Discuss Phase I of the no parking plan for residential areas. • Discuss proposed changes to the sign regulations in the LDO. • Discuss a possible agreement with Bill Marshall and the Midwest Meltdown Triathlon. • Review and explanation of the City’s accounting funds and their purposes. • Update on the 2011 Budget process. • Project updates. • Other.
