MINUTES APRIL 21, 2025 COUNCIL MEETING PARMA COUNCIL CHAMBERS 6:30 P.M. The Regular Council Meeting was called to order by President Vito Dipierro presiding. Service Director Vanello – Stated there was an excessive amount of rock salt used last year but we do have about 4,500 tons left, we are ordering another 12,000 tons to get us through this upcoming winter. Councilwoman Lime – Asked if the price went up for the rock salt? Service Director Vanello – Stated that the price is not known yet but he is hopeful it is around the same as last year, which was just under $50 per ton. Stated that she has heard from residents that some of the Senior Center vehicles do not have lifts.
