CITY OF PASSAIC BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MINUTES The City of Passaic Board of Adjustments held a special meeting on April 30th, 2019 in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 330 Passaic Street at 7:30 p.m. and opened the meeting at 7:43 p.m. by requesting a roll call. Notice Scoping Hearing for Pulaski Park/Dundee Island & Third Ward Veterans’ Memorial Park 2. Ordinance amending the City Code of the City of Passaic, Chapter 29 “Land Development Procedures” to create Article VI, “Payment in Lieu of Parking” APPLICATIONS: 1. Docket# ZB19-05, 247-255 Gregory Ave, Block 2203, Lot 7, 17-19, 22 in the R3-Zone, applicant The Corporation of the Presiding Bishop of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, is requesting an extension to the approvals granted by Resolution on May 31st, 2016 to construct a house of worship. FIRST APPEARANCE Item #1 of the agenda was read in the record. Mr. Richard Schkolnick, Attorney for the applicant was not present at the hearing. Mr. Schkolnick explained to the Board why the applicant is requesting an extension till the end of the year. Chairman Bazian had a question for D.Kinz, Board Attorney regarding expiration of Resolutions. He expressed his concerns on granting this extension. Commissioner Graham-Woodson had questions for Mr. Schkolnick. Chairman Bazian opened the public portion of the hearing. Joe Conoscenti, resident of 170 Broadway had questions for Mr. Schkolnick. A motion to close the public portion of the hearing of 247-255 Gregory Avenue, made by Vice Chairman Martinez, seconded by Commissioner Graham-Woodson, on a roll call vote, all in favor the motion passed. A motion to approve request for extension of Approval for 247-255 Gregory Avenue, made by Commissioner Lozano-Rosas, seconded by Commissioner Graham-Woodson, on a roll call vote, all in favor the motion passed. MINUTES: 1. Minutes of March 26th, 2019 were presented to the Board for approval. A motion to approve Minutes of March 26th, 2019 was made by Vice Chairman Martinez, seconded by Commissioner Graham-Woodson, on a roll call vote, all in favor the motion passed. 2. Minutes of April 9, 2019 were presented to the Board for approval. No quorum to approve.
