CITY OF PELICAN RAPIDS COUNCIL MINUTES – 11-16-00 The City Council of Pelican Rapids met on at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, 11-16-00, at City Hall in a reconvened meeting. Present: Mayor Wayne Runningen, Council Members Denise Magnusson, Paulette Nettestad and John Waller III. Absent: Dave Gottenborg. Also present: Administrative Assistant Richard A. Jenson, Street and Park Superintendent Vern Benson and Police Chief Greg Ballard. Meeting reconvened by Mayor Runningen. Administrative Assistant Richard A. Jenson reviewed a Notice of Cancellation of Insurance for Liquor Liability received by the City for Changes Restaurant. Without liquor liability insurance the On-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License is not valid. Motion by Nettestad, seconded by Magnusson to revoke the On-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License due to cancellation of liquor liability insurance, effective on the cancellation date. Motion passed unanimously. Police Chief Greg Ballard will check premises to be sure the liquor is removed since the premises is a Christmas gift gathering point. Street and Park Superintendent Vern Benson presented the Disaster Plan. Meeting adjourned at 5:00 p.m. Richard A. Jenson City Clerk
