CITY OF PELICAN RAPIDS COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES – 09-07-04 The City Council of Pelican Rapids met in regular session of a meeting continued from 08-31-04, at 7:00 a.m., Tuesday, 09-07-04, Council Chambers, City Hall, 315 N. Broadway. Mayor Wayne Runningen, Council Members Ben Woessner, David Gottenborg and John E. Waller, III, were present. Council Member Denise Magnusson was absent. Deputy Clerk-Treasurer Glenys Ehlert was also present. Mayor Runningen reconvened meeting at 7:00 a.m. Mayor Runningen reviewed the interview process for a street and park department equipment operator. Motion by Woessner, seconded by Gottenborg to accept the Interview Committee’s recommendation to hire Lance Roisum as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Rate of pay will be the second step on the Salary Schedule for Street and Park Employees. Motion passed unanimously. Personnel Committee Member Gottenborg reviewed the salary schedule for department heads. Motion by Gottenborg, seconded by Waller to accept the Personnel Committee’s recommendation and set the Clerk-Treasurer salary at the last step on the schedule. Motion passed unanimously.
