CITY OF PELICAN RAPIDS COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES-11-08-06 The City Council of Pelican Rapids met as required by state statute to canvas votes on Wednesday, 11-08-06, at 7:30 a.m., in Council Chambers, City Hall, 315 N. Broadway. Mayor Wayne Runningen, Council Members Ben Woessner, Richard Peterson, John E. Waller, III, and David Gottenborg were present. No Council Members were absent. Clerk-Treasurer Glenys Ehlert and Administrator Don Solga were also present. Meeting called to order by Mayor Runningen. Motion by Gottenborg, seconded by Woessner to introduce the following resolution: WHEREAS, a record kept by the Judges of Election held 11-07-06, shows a total of 568 voters in the City Election, and WHEREAS, the tabulation of votes for the various officials voted upon show a majority of the votes being cast for the following: Wayne Runningen, for the office of mayor with 470 votes; Ben Woessner for the office of council member with 326 votes and John Waller, III, for the office of council member with 296 votes. Mayor Runningen, Council Members Gottenborg, Peterson, Waller and Woessner voted yes. No one voted no. Motion passed unanimously and resolution declared duly adopted. Meeting adjourned.
