COUNCIL OR BOROUGH ANNOUNCMENTS  Borough meetings are recorded for the purpose of preparing the minutes  Complaints – All borough complaints need to be documented on borough complaint forms 4. PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS  It is requested that all persons wishing to speak before Council state their name and address for the record. In the interest of facilitating the business of Council, all persons addressing Council shall be limited to three (3) minutes unless such time is extended by the Council President for good cause. 5. CONSENT ITEMS  Minutes of December 6, 2021 Council Meeting 6. NEW BUSINESS Consideration of a motion to authorize advertisement of the 2022 meeting schedule Consideration of a motion to adopt the 2022 budget advertised for review on December 17, 2021 Consideration of a motion to adopt Resolution #2021-17 fixing and retaining certain real property taxes for the fiscal year 2022 in the amounts of 19.3 mills for general borough purposes, 3.0 mills for fire protection services, and 2.5 mills for debt service, as provided under the PA Borough Code Consideration of a motion to adopt Resolution #2021-18 establishing a fee for collection of ashes, garbage, rubbish and refuse pursuant to section chapter 340- “Solid Waste;” repealing prior inconsistent resolutions; and providing for an effective date Consideration of a motion to hire Kyle Areias as a part-time police officer upon completion of a background investigation and MPOETC requirements 7.
