MINUTES OF THE PEORIA CITY COUNCIL CITY OF PEORIA, ARIZONA Meeting Held by Zoom Meeting November 25, 2024 SPECIAL MEETING (Virtual) A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Peoria, Arizona was convened at 8401 West Monroe Street in open and public session at 3:00 p.m. Members Present: Mayor Beck, Vice Mayor Jon Edwards; Mayor Pro Tem Jennifer Crawford; Councilmembers Denette Dunn, Michael Finn and Brad Shafer. Members Absent: Councilmember Bill Patena. Other Municipal Officials Present: Henry Darwin, City Manager; Emily Jurmu, City Attorney; Agnes Goodwine, City Clerk and Jill Boltz, Deputy City Clerk. REGULAR AGENDA New Business: 1 R. Canvass of November 5, 2024 General Election Motion was made by Councilmember Crawford, seconded by Vice Mayor Edwards to approve RES. 2024-94 approving the official Canvass of Election for the November 5, 2024, General Election. Upon tabulation of votes, it showed: AYES – Beck, Edwards, Crawford, Finn, Dunn, Shafer NAYS – None. ABSENT – Patena Motion carried unanimously by those present.
