Peoria Municipal Band Minutes Thursday, April 11, 2024 Held at Dingeldine at Bradley University Meeting Started at 7:59 a.m. Attendance: Molly Sloter, Chairman; Dr. David Vroman, Director; George Graves, Jr, Manager; Don Baker, Marcia Boyer, Denise Cooksey, Liaison; Mary Barthel; Dave Liddle, and Lee Wenger Call to Order: 7:59 a.m. Minutes of March 14, 2024, approved by Mary Barthel and seconded by Marcia Boyer Manager's Report: George Graves noted that Sie Maroon will help provide assistance for Wednesday and Saturday night transportation needs. Negotiations are being rendered for specific details Band trailer maintenance will be performed the last week of this month No current bills Director's Report: Band web site has been reupped Todd Pilon is on board for this summer Need Music equipment by May 15 of this year Seeking singers and narrators for this summer's concerts and musicians Chairman's Report: Went over all possible advertising Commission approved Purchase of 100 yard signs from Unes Printing at the cost of $846.00 4 x 4 ad in Community Word newspaper at $95.00 one-half page in Corn Stock Programs at $370.00 two months advertising on District 150 Digital sign at $1500.00 Street Banners for two months at $5.00 a pole Morton Civic Chorus Program ad No bus signs this year No advertising at Dozer Park but observe what is available Commission members volunteered to secure Restaurant gift cards for giveaways during band concerts Meeting adjourned at 9:07 a.m. Minutes submitted by Don Baker Next meeting is on May 9, 2024 in Dingeldine Music Center.
