City of Petersburg Community Development Block Grant Advisory Committee Special Meeting Summary May 24, 2024 11:30 AM Microsoft Teams Special Meeting of the Community Development Block Grant Advisory Board 5/24/2024 at 11:30 AM via Microsoft Teams. Aim: AAP Edits 1. Call to order: Mr. Kofi Adih, Chairman 2. Determination of the Presence of a Quorum: four members were present (Kofi Adih, Shabaka Moore, Sonja Holt, and Leonard Curry) 3. Discussion of final edits to the recommended subrecipients for the development of the AAP and presentation to City Council; the public notice will be amended immediately. The complete CDBG allocation will be dispersed between a total of 10 organizations and the standard 20% will go toward the administration of the grant. Kofi Adih will edit the presentation, which will include the recommended allocation amounts. The document will be submitted to the City Council Clerk no later than 5/28 for the June 4th City Council Agenda. The document will be shared with the CDBG Admin on 5/27/2024 before the close of business. The CDBG AB will present to City Council on June 4th. The presentation will be led by Shabaka Moore. The City Council will vote on June 18th, 2024. 4. Standard Operating Procedure (formally the Bylaws) will be revisited: Leonard Curry will forward a version to the CDBG Admin. Edits, to include LMI qualifying area maps and requirements for AB member participation (such as attendance), will be  reviewed and approved before June 4, 2024. Enforcement will begin as of July 01, 2024. 5. CDBG AB members to meet with Brandy Cramer at the Cameron Foundation to discuss plans for continued development in Poplar Lawn. The meeting will be on June 20, 2024, from 10 AM to 12 PM. 6. Public Comment Period: there were no members of the public present. 7.
