Council Present: Mayor Melissa Ashford, Mayor ProTem Jonathan Hisey, Councilman Ryan Aller and Councilman Ron Cardwell Council Absent: Councilman Austin Redus 3. SCHEDULED BUSINESS______________________________________ A. Discussion, consideration, and possible action to enter into executive session for the purposes of confidential communications between the governing body and legal counsel concerning pending litigation in cases ​CJ-2021-447, CJ-22-384, & CJ22-385, and Notice of Tort Claim Against Piedmont, Oklahoma dated January 6, 2023 as authorized by 25 O.S. § 307. Mayor Pro-Tem Jonathan Hisey made a motion to adjourn to executive session. It was seconded by Councilman Ron Cardwell. VOTE WAS: AYE: Mayor Melissa Ashford, Mayor ProTem Jonathan Hisey, Councilman Ron Cardwell, and Councilman Ryan Aller NAY: None Councilman Ron Cardwell made a motion to adjourn out of executive session at 6:39PM. It was seconded by Mayor Pro-Tem Jonathan Hisey. VOTE WAS: AYE: Mayor Melissa Ashford, Mayor ProTem Jonathan Hisey, Councilman Ron Cardwell, and Councilman Ryan Aller NAY: None B. Discussion, consideration, and possible action concerning CJ-2021-447, CJ-22-384, & CJ22-385, and Notice of Tort Claim Against Piedmont, Oklahoma dated January 6, 2023. Councilman Ron Cardwell made a motion for our OMAG attorney Ray Jones to proceed with items discussed in executive sessions for case CJ-22-384 and CJ-22-385 VOTE WAS: AYE: Mayor Melissa Ashford, Mayor ProTem Jonathan Hisey, Councilman Ron Cardwell, and Councilman Ryan Aller NAY: None Councilman Ron Cardwell made a motion for McAfee and Taft to proceed with items discussed in Executive sessions on case CJ-2021-447. VOTE WAS: AYE: Mayor Melissa Ashford, Mayor ProTem Jonathan Hisey, Councilman Ron Cardwell, and Councilman Ryan Aller NAY: None Councilman Ron Cardwell made a motion to go back into executive session at 6:41pm. It was seconded by Mayor Pro-Tem Jonathan Hisey. VOTE WAS: AYE: Mayor Melissa Ashford, Mayor ProTem Jonathan Hisey, Councilman Ron Cardwell, and Councilman Ryan Aller NAY: None Mayor Melissa Ashford made a motion to leave executive session at 7:02pm it was seconded by Councilman Ron Cardwell.
