TOWN OF PINE LEVEL MINUTES OF THE PINE LEVEL PLANNING BOARD MEETING APRIL 23, 2020 MEETING INFORMATION The Pine Level Planning Board met on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. at the Pine Level Town Hall. MINOR SUBDIVISION REQUEST A minor subdivision request was submitted by Tim and Kathleen Thompson and Leighanna Thompson Worley. Tax Map#12M12046B and total acreage 13.39 acres. Leighanna Worley was present to discuss the minor subdivision. Zoning Administrator Scottie Hayes stated that the property is a parent parcel and they would like to divide the parcel in half. The dividing point is the road. On one side of the road the parcel is in Pine Level’s ETJ, and across the road the other half of the parcel is in Johnston County’s jurisdiction. Chairman Jones read from the subdivision ordinance on page 10 Article 3 Section 301.4. After some discussion, the board advised Ms. Worley that the owners of the property would need to submit the request for the subdivision, and to resubmit this property as a major subdivision, waive the sketch plan fee, and bring in a new map stating it is the Final Plat for the major subdivision with the seal on the map, and a Stormwater Drainage Plan at the next meeting which will be held on May 28, 2020. It was noted that letters to NCDOT and JC Environmental Health would need to be sent. The board agreed. CHAPTER 160D According to the Institute of Government, the updates on regulations for 160D have been extended to July 1, 2021.
