MINUTES OF THE MANAGER’S YOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE, HELD JANUARY 16th, 2016 AT 7:09 IN THE TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS. Tanner called the meeting to order at 7:09 Present: Nicole Bratsch, Keala Bratsch, Caroline Goode, Tanner Stewart, Deborah James, Natalie Campbell, Dominic West, Adam Gillihan, Evie Racette, and Matthew Williams Item#1: Welcome and Attendance: All members present Item #2: Approval of Minutes: Natalie Motions Nicole Seconds Item #3: Ideas for New Events: We brainstormed new idea for events: - End of the year party at the park: slip and slide - Winter events: ski lessons at the park - Outdoor movie: May-September, black and white or Disney films, community potlucks - Talent show - 4th of July: pie eating contest, homemade ice cream - Think of ideas and send them to Matthew before next meeting (mwilliams@pinetoplakeside.az.gov) - Easter egg hunt: how can we improve? Item #4: Policy Meeting in the Town Hall: If anyone is interested, there will be a meeting discussing the placement of a residential care facility in the Woodland Hills neighborhood at 6:00 tonight.
