TOWN OF PITTSBORO BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FEBRUARY 6, 2023 SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES PAGE 1 OF 1 TOWN OF PITTSBORO The Pittsboro Board of Commissioners met in Special Meeting on Monday, February 6, 2023, at 8:30 am in the conference room at Chatham County Agricultural Center with Mayor Cindy Perry presiding. The meeting was called to order at 8:37 am. ELECTED TOWN OFFICIALS PRESENT: Mayor Cindy S. Perry, Mayor Pro Tern Pamela Baldwin, Commissioners John Bonitz, Jay Farrell, James Vose and Kyle Shipp. TOWN STAFF PRESENT: HR Director Jennifer Eakes and Town Clerk Carrie Bailey. Mayor Pro Tem Baldwin made a motion to enter Closed Session pursuant to N.C.G.S. § 143-318.11. (a)(6), seconded by Commissioner Bonitz. Vote: Aye-5 Nay-0 Motion carried unanimously. CLOSED SESSION The Board of Commissioners wish to hold a Closed Session pursuant to N.C.G.S. § 143- 318.11 . (a) (6) in reference to Town Manager selection process. Commissioner Bonitz left at 9:36am . ADJOURNMENT Commissioner Shipp made a motion to exit close session, seconded by Commissioner Farrell. Vote: Aye-4 Nay-0 Motion passed unanimously. Commissioner Farrell made a motion to adjourn at 10:09 am, seconded by Commissioner Vose. Vote: Aye-4 Nay-0 Motion passed unanimously. ATTEST: •
