TOWN OF PITTSBORO BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MARCH 9, 2023 SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES-CLOSED PAGE 1 OF 1 TOWN OF PITTSBORO The Pittsboro Board of Commissioners met in Special Meeting on Wednesday, March 9, 2023, at 10:30 am in the conference room at Chatham County Agricultural Center with Mayor Cindy Perry presiding. The meeting was called to order at 10:41 am . ELECTED TOWN OFFICIALS PRESENT: Mayor Cindy S. Perry, Mayor· Pro Tern Pamela Baldwin, Commissioners Jay Farrell, Kyle Shipp and James Vose. ELECTED TOWN OFFICIALS ABSENT: Commissioner John Benitz TOWN STAFF PRESENT: HR Director Jennifer Eakes and Town Clerk Carrie Bailey. CLOSED SESSION Commissioner Shipp made a motion to enter Closed Session pursuant to N.C.G.S. § 143- 318.11. (a)(6) pertaining to Town Manager selection process, seconded by Commissioner Vose. Vote: Aye-4 Nay-0 Motion carried unanimously. Commissioner Benitz arrived at 10:48am. Commissioner Vose left at 4:44pm. Mayor Pro Tem Baldwin made a motion to exit Closed Session, seconded by Commissioner Bonitz. Vote: Aye-4 Nay-0 Motion carried unanimously. Commissioner Bonitz made a motion to Adjourn, seconded by Commissioner Farrell. Vote: Aye-4 Nay-0 Motion carried unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 4:50pm. ATTEST: ~A-~~ Carrie L.
