Community Pride Committee Meeting

MINUTES COMMUNITY PRIDE COMMITTEE SEPTEMBER 18, 2017 4:00 PM TOWN HALL, 549 MAIN ST. 1. Call to Order/Roll Call: Present: Craig Zangari, Christine Thiel, Kathi Lishman, Josette Johnson Staff: Steve Youel Absent:, Deb Power, Guest: Cary Fryer 2. Adoption of Agenda: Moved for adoption by Christine. Seconded by Craig. Motion carried. 3. Approval of Meeting Minutes – August 15, 2016: Tabled to next meeting. 4. Public Comment – Brief Non Agenda Items: None 5. Treasurer’s Report/Annual Budget: Steve Youel handed out a revised Annual Budget Worksheet with revised budget request for each garden project. The Committee reviewed each garden request and made adjustments to balance the budget. The attached budget was approved as amended by a unanimous vote of the Committee. 6. Status Reports: A. Community Gardens: Kathi shared that Marcia is still committed to the Ore Cart Garden design but is extremely busy at this time. Josette reported on the Adopted a Trail and Old City Hall Gardens. Steve mentioned that he is going to Roseville on Thursday to check on the status of the monument project. Christine stated that she can no longer maintain the Chamber Garden. Craig will consider taking on the maintenance responsibility. Kathi may have a volunteer who is interested in maintaining the garden. Josette volunteered to set up a volunteer work party to clean up the site. 7. Work Party Calendar: Each gardener will schedule their own. 8. Items for Next Meeting: No new agenda items. 9.
