OPEN SESSION CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL: Borelli, Neau, Saragosa, Taylor, Thomas ANNOUNCEMENTS TO THE PUBLIC ADOPTION OF AGENDA In keeping with the nature of a Special Council Meeting for the purpose of interviewing Recreation & Parks Commission candidates, it is recommended that the normal order of the Agenda be set aside. DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS Recreation & Parks Commission Interviews Three candidates (Mark Sandperl, Kelley Rogers, and Steven Vance) submitted applications by the final filing deadline, March 9, 2021. All candidates have been invited to participate in this public interview process with questions posed to each candidate by the City Council. Each candidate will be given sufficient time to respond to the questions. At the conclusion of the group interviews, each Councilmember will complete a prepared ballot that the City Manager and City Clerk will tabulate and then report the results of the balloting at the public meeting. Each Councilmember will vote for up to three candidates. Candidates receiving the highest number of votes from at least three (3) Councilmembers shall be appointed.
