Senior Center: Intergenerational activities with Pre-K and Kindergarten in March & April at
Neal Wilkins, with fifth grade at Broske Center in April. Senior Expo is Wednesday, March 25th
with free movie to follow. The Senior Center won Arthur Virtue Community Spirit Award,
banquet was held Thursday, March 19, nominated by Kathy Kopp. Day Trips have good
attendance.
PASS: No new updates for PASS
Council: Lots going on with the City. Fire station is on schedule. Pool very far along, looking at
opening in July. New police chief, internal candidates. City Council will meet tomorrow night,
March 24, hoping to determine a City manager. Been a good experience. Comprehensive plan is
tabled for the time being because of housing and changes that may come forward, awaiting
confirmation.
ADRC: Met Wednesday, March 18. Brought flyers to be displayed at Senior Center such as
Memory Screening in April at the Library. Lori is interested in meeting with Michael & Kathy,
although they are currently working on Year End so once that is wrapped up that can be
scheduled. No longer have a regional ADRC, Grant County is now standalone. Platteville serves
about 20,000 meals a year, with federal money, meals may suffer for home delivery.
Business:
Waiting to hear if we will be able to put grant through Platteville Community Fund,
through Parks & Rec. Other avenues for grants may be available specifically for the
brochure. On hold until we have funds. Looking at $500-$600 to have done. Jodi to
upload on Platteville.org

Lunch and Lecture taking place on October 22nd
Senior Prom falls on the Commission on Aging, would need a grant to make happen.
