COMMUNITY SAFE ROUTES COMMITTEE Monday February 16, 2026 6:00 PM MEETING WAS HELD IN PERSON MINUTES CSRC Attendees: Steven Badger, Angela Dietrich, Robin Fatzinger, Connie Gronemus, Danica Larson, Gary Lindahl and Eileen McCartney CSRC Not Present: None Staff Present: Howard Crofoot Public Attendees: None 1) Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm. 2) Approval of Minutes: a . A motion was made by Steve and seconded by Eileen to approve the January 19, 2026 minutes with amendment in paragraph 5) a. Motion passed. 3) Citizen Comments, Observations, & Petitions: a. There was a suggestion by a citizen that the City look at the possibility of placing a mirror at the intersection of Fourth and Main to assist drivers in navigating the intersection. Howard accepted the comment but cautioned that a mirror could be subject to vandalism. b. There was a concern about how narrow East Mineral Street is between Broadway and Lutheran Street – especially due to the trucks from the business. There was a suggestion to possibly change the section of East Mineral Street from Broadway to Water to a one-way westbound – similar to the section west of Water Street. Howard accepted the comment. 4) Old Business a. Bike-Pedestrian crash history. January - None b. Review of May 2025 Goals as amended in February 2026. The CSRC had a discussion, but made no changes to the proposed goals. 5) New Business: None 6) Next Meeting: March 16, 2026 – tentative. It could be called off due to spring break. 7) Adjourn - A motion was made by Eileen and seconded by Steve to adjourn the meeting at 6:28 PM. Motion passed.
