PLATTEVILLE HOUSING AUTHORITY BOARD MEETING Minutes Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 3:30 pm, in the Council Chambers The regular board meeting of the Platteville Housing Authority was held on February 24, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers. The meeting was properly posted according to the Open Meeting Law. A quorum was met. Joyce Bos, Board Chair, called the meeting to order at 3:30 pm. Members Present: J. Bos, B. Daus, D. Faherty, L. Liberatore Members Absent: M. Kelly Others Present: S. Cook APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MINUTES The minutes of the February 24, 2026, meeting were discussed. Motion by Daus and seconded by Liberatore to approve the February 24, 2026, meeting minutes with a change to Old Business, Item B. to read, “Grand Central Realty, LLC will continue to provide contract services” Motion Carried. SECTION 8 UPDATE: The ED reported that there were 2 port-outs and 1 port-in. Total of 77. Motion by Faherty, seconded by Liberatore to approve the Section 8 report. Motion carried. APPROVAL OF December and January Financials and Bank Rec: Motion by Daus and seconded by Liberatore to approve the December and January financials and bank recs. Motion carried. APPROVAL OF HAP Payments and General Expenditures: February HAP checks #7805-7844 and Admin. Exp. Chks. #7845-7850 were presented. Motion by Daus and seconded by Faherty to approve checks. Motion carried. OLD BUSINESS: A. Section 8 update: We have been going through the waiting list and taking new applications. The ED stated that there was a conflict with the original meeting date for the landlord appreciation due to a WAHA training. It was decided to have the Landlord appreciation on May 26, 2026, to coincide with the regular meeting. The meeting would be at 3:30 with a reception at 4:00 and program at 4:30. Refreshments would be provided. We would like to have an attorney present for the landlords to ask questions regarding tenancy matters. We will check around. B. Web pages, etc. Everyone was asked to check out what they could regarding the housing authority so that all information could be updated. Adjournment: With no other business to come before the board, Motion by Faherty and seconded by Liberatore to adjourn the meeting. Motion Carried. Meeting adjourned at 4:30 pm. Next meeting: March 31, 2026 3:30 in the council chambers.
