MOTION: I HEREBY MOVE TO APPROVE RESOLUTION 11 OF 2021 APPOINTING A NEW RIGHT TO KNOW OFFICER. RESOLUTION NO. 11 OF 2021 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF PLYMOUTH, LUZERNE COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, APPOINTING AN OPEN RECORDS OFFICER WHEREAS, there currently exists a vacancy in the position of Open Records Officer in the Borough; WHEREAS, the Borough is required to have position under the Right-to-Know Law;  WHEREAS, Borough needs this position filled in order to comply with said law and in order to comply with the requirements of the Right-to-Know Law; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ADOPTED by the Borough Council of Plymouth, that the Borough herby approves and appoints Gail Burdulis, to the position of Open Records Officer as required by 65 P.S § 67.502 of the Right-to-Know Act with all of the authority provided therein regarding the aforesaid position of Open Records Officer. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
