CITY OF POCATELLO, IDAHO CITY COUNCIL EXECUTIVE SESSION APRIL 17, 2019 An Executive Session of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Brian Blad at 9:08 a.m. in the Paradice Conference Room at City Hall. Council members present were Roger Bray, Rick Cheatum, Linda Leeuwrik and Beena Mannan. Council member Jim Johnston arrived at 9:25 a.m. Council member Heidi Adamson was excused. Please note the meeting was originally scheduled in the Iwamizawa Conference room. However, because of the number of attendees, it was moved to the Paradice Conference room and signage of the new location was posted on the Iwamizawa Conference room doors. A motion was made by Mr. Cheatum, seconded by Mr. Bray, to convene into Executive Session in accordance with Idaho Code Section 74-206(l)(j) To consider labor contract matters authorized under section 67-2345[74-206A] (1) (a) and (b), Idaho Code. Upon roll call, those voting in favor were Cheatum, Bray, Leeuwrik and Mannan. In addition to the Mayor and Council members, the following staff members were in attendance: Ruth Whitworth, City Clerk; Jared Johnson, City Attorney; Heather Buchanan, Human Resources Director; Ashley Linton-Welsh, Senior Accountant; Scott Marchand, Police Chief; and David Gates, Fire Chief. Scott W. Marotz, Attorney at Law, representing Anderson, Julian and Hull, participated in the meeting by phone. Council discussed topics within the parameters of the above statute. Mr. Bray was excused from the meeting at 10:25 a.m. Mayor Blad adjourned the Executive Session at 10:55 a.m. APPROVED: BRIAN C.
