CITY OF POCATELLO, IDAHO SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING ID COMMERCE REPRESENTATIVES MAY 14, 2019 AGENDA ITEM NO. 1: The Special City Council meeting was called to order at 9:41 ROLL CALL a.m. by Mayor Brian Blad. Council members present were Heidi Adamson, Roger Bray, Rich Cheatum, Linda Leeuwrik and Beena Mannan. Council member Jim Johnston was excused. Also in attendance was Ruth Newsom, City Clerk; Anne Nichols, Administrative Services Manager; Jared Johnson, City Attorney; and Tom Kealey, Idaho Commerce Director; and Randy Schroll, Senior Economic Development Specialist. Mr. Kealey reported that he was appointed to the position of Idaho Commerce Director by Governor Brad Little and gave a brief history of his experience in business. In response to questions from Council, Mr. Kealey shared his thoughts regarding economic development, innovation and technology programs. He also mentioned the progress of new projects both statewide and in the Pocatello area. There being no further business, Mayor Blad adjourned the meeting at 11:25 a.m. APPROVED BY: BRIAN C.
