Amend a Contract with the University Inn Claremont to Provide Motel Vouchers to Pomona Residents Experiencing Homelessness with High-Risk COVID Conditions It is recommended that the City Council take the following actions: 1) Award a one-year contract based on the COVID Emergency Declaration to the University Inn Claremont for a motel voucher program to provide emergency shelter to homeless Pomona residents with high-risk COVID conditions in an amount not to exceed $545,196, increasing the total award to $644,196; and 2) Authorize the City Manager or his designee to execute the contract and any amendments or extensions thereto, subject to review by the City Attorney. 12. Adopt a Resolution Authorizing the Award of a Contract with Volunteers of America to Operate a Motel Voucher Program and Rapid Rehousing Program It is recommended that the City Council take the following actions: 1) Award a contract based on the COVID Emergency Proclamation to Volunteers of America to operate a motel voucher program and Rapid Rehousing program providing housing services to homeless Pomona residents with COVID high -risk conditions for a total amount not to exceed $906,288; and 2) Authorize the City Manager or his designee to execute the contract and any amendments or extensions thereto, subject to review by the City Attorney. 14. Amending the Consolidated Plan, the Fiscal Year (FY) 2021-22 Annual Action Plan and FY 2021-22 City Operating Budget to Re-Allocate ESG CV Funds It is recommended that the City Council adopt the following resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 2022-39 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE CONSOLIDATED PLAN, THE FISCAL YEAR (FY) 2021-2022 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN AND FY 2021-22 CITY OPERATING BUDGET TO RE-ALLOCATE EMERGENCY SHELTER GRANT (ESG) CV FUNDS DISCUSSION CALENDAR 15.
