D. PUBLIC COMMENT: 1. At this time, the general public is invited to address the Cultural Arts Commission concerning any items that are not listed on the agenda, which are not public hearings, or other items under the jurisdiction of the Cultural Arts Commission. Comments from the public of any nonagenda items will be limited to three (3) minutes in accordance with City policy. 2. Approval of Draft Cultural Arts Commission Action Minutes meeting of May 24, 2021. Attachments: Draft CAC Action Minutes 5-24-2021 F. PUBLIC HEARING: G. OLD BUSINESS: H. NEW BUSINESS: 1. Discussion: Citywide Call for Artists Staff will facilitate a discussion on a Citywide Call for Artists. The discussion will focus on the scope of the program, including eligibility, amount of investment, application criteria, selection process, timeline, and public engagement strategy. 2. Discussion: Prince of Pomona Sculpture Staff will facilitate a discussion on public interest in a “Prince of Pomona” sculpture. 3. Establishing Location for In-Person Commission Meetings Staff is seeking an approved location to re-establish in-person Commission and Committee meetings from August 2021 onwards. 4. Establishing Ad-Hoc Committee for Programs Staff is seeking to establish an ad-hoc committee for Programs to be funded by the Public Art Fund. 5. Update on Millard Sheets Fountains Restoration Project Staff will provide an update on the Millard Sheets Restoration Project, including a Commission requested change to the color of the pre-cast concrete, and its inconsistency with Historic Preservation review.
