D. PUBLIC COMMENT: 1. At this time, the general public is invited to address the Cultural Arts Commission concerning any items that are not listed on the agenda, which are not public hearings, or other items under the jurisdiction of the Cultural Arts Commission. Comments from the public of any nonagenda items will be limited to three (3) minutes in accordance with City policy. 2. PUBLIC HEARING: H. DISCUSSION ITEMS: 1. Art Program for West Valley Connector Project. As part of the West Valley Connect Project, which includes the creation of new bus rapid transit stops along Holt Avenue in Pomona, the San Bernardino County Transit Authority (SBCTA, Omintrans) is seeking Cultural Arts Commission representation on a committee to review potential public art projects at stations. SBCTA Representation will present a slide show. Staff is seeking one (1) Commissioner to represent the Commission on this committee. Attachments: Presentation to Pomona Arts Commission 2. Chalk Art Festival & Water Color Contest. Staff will facilitate a discussion on planning for the Chalk Art Festival in the Fall and Water Color contest in the Spring. I.
