APPROVED 9/13/2023 MINUTES PLANNING COMMISSION OF POOLESVILLE August 23, 2023 CALL TO ORDER: Chair Bupp called the meeting to Order at 7:00 PM. All Commissioners were in attendance; Commissioner Radigan attended virtually. Town Engineer Strong, Assistant Town Manager Anderegg, and Town Manager Yost (virtually) also attended. CITIZEN’S COMMENTS: None ANNOUNCEMENTS: Assistant Town Manager Anderegg provided a few updates to the commissioners, including that the Board of Zoning appeals approved the height variance for the Donegan property and that both the Donegan property and the Bricken property plan to present updates to their preliminary plans to the planning commission at the September meeting. Commissioner Radigan gave an update from the town Commissioners, stating that the commissioners have received resident feedback on the Townhouse development (Donegan property) and that staff will share this feedback at the next meeting. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Commissioner Radigan moved to approve the July 12, 2023, meeting minutes. Commissioner Leichliter seconded the motion. The motion carried 5-0. OLD BUSINESS: 1. COMPREHENSIVE PLAN Wallace Montgomery Michael S. Bayer from Wallace Montgomery updated the Commissioners on the Comprehensive Plan. The Commissioners gave feedback on the Land Use and Economic Development chapters and follow-up input on Sustainability, the Introduction, and the Vision and Guiding Principles chapters; staff will work with Wallace Montgomery to create new drafts based on the Commission’s feedback. NEW BUSINESS: None ADJOURNMENT: Commissioner Leichliter made a motion to adjourn. Commissioner Stump seconded the motion. Motion carried 5-0. The meeting adjourned at 8:28
