AUDIT & PAYMENT OF CLAIMS: Abstract #4 (2018-2019)
1. No. 1-7, 9-13, 15-29, 35, 37-38 as listed on the Abstract of Unaudited vouchers for the General
Fund for $82,228.52
2. No. 14, 18, 30-31 as listed on the Abstract of Unaudited vouchers for the Water Fund for
$437.42
3. No. 8, 15, 32-34, 36 as listed on the Abstract of Unaudited vouchers for the Sewer Fund for
$27,055.08
COMMUNICATIONS:
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Administration/Code Enforcement/Community Association – James DeGennaro, Trustee
Planning Board –

1. Leaf box for new truck
Public Safety – Michael Cashman, Trustee
The Port Dickinson Police Department responded to 121 calls for assistance, gave mutual
aid 6 times, they wrote 8 Traffic Ticket a Criminal Contempt arrest.
Water/Sewer – Robert Aagre, Trustee
1. Kirkwood lift station is undergoing repair and replacement of breakers that
burned out, due to the pumps getting clogged with rags (J. Rosati doing repairs.)
2. Bathrooms in the Park were pumped out last week (Fan system needs repair.)
3. No problems with the water system ( no water main breaks, no discoloration or
Fenton water problems, no flushing of hydrants)
Zoning Board of Appeals
OLD BUSINESS:
RESOLUTIONS FOR APPROVAL:
1. Resolution scheduling a Public Hearing at 5:00PM on August 28, 2018 to transfer from the Water
Repair Reserve to the Water Fund.
2. Resolution approving Budget transfers for the 2018-2018 fiscal year.
3. Resolution declaring an emergency situation at the Mill St pump station and ratifying the Mayor’s
authorization of the contract with Joseph Rosati for an amount not to exceed $6000, and
authorizing the Mayor to execute all future documents related to the work and take all necessary
action to have the work complete
4. Resolution authorizing the hiring of David Ely as part-time Police Officer effective 08/14/2018 at a
salary of $16/hr.
