Proposed transfer of $29,689.75 from the Water Repair Reserve to the Water Fund. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: August 14, 2018 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: TREASURER’S REPORT: Written report filed with the Village Clerk AUDIT & PAYMENT OF CLAIMS: Abstract #6 (2018-2019) 1. No. 1-18 as listed on the Abstract of Unaudited vouchers for the General Fund for $13,720.04 2. No. 7, 19 as listed on the Abstract of Unaudited vouchers for the Water Fund for $98.83 COMMUNICATIONS: COMMITTEE REPORTS: Administration/Code Enforcement/Community Association – James DeGennaro, Trustee Planning Board – Parks/Public Works – Charles Harding, Trustee Public Safety – Michael Cashman, Trustee The Port Dickinson Police Department responded to 105 calls for assistance, gave mutual aid 8 times, they wrote 5 Traffic Tickets. Water/Sewer – Robert Aagre, Trustee 1. Review of the expenses of the Water & Sewer accounts necessitated an increase in the Fund balance of the Water account. Adoption of the new rate at the October Board Meeting will generate the additional funds, starting in March of 2019. 2. Water & Sewer staff have been doing an excellent job with their duties. Many of the projects have been completed or resolved; meter installation continues. 3. Another month went by with no major water leaks – good news. Zoning Board of Appeals OLD BUSINESS: RESOLUTIONS FOR APPROVAL: 1. Resolution scheduling a Public Hearing at 6:00PM on October 9, 2018 to amend Chapter 62 of the Village Code entitled “Water. Increasing the water rate from $4.10/100 cf to $4.64/100cf and the Water Operational charge to $86.41 per billing period. 2. Resolution approving the transfer of $29,689.75 from the Water Repair Reserve to the Water Fund. NEW BUSINESS/DISCUSSION: ADJOURNMENT
