1. Transition is underway within the Water & Sewer Department to move to a 4 bills/year format, with billings
sent out in February, May, August, and November. This is being done to reduce the cost of the average bill.
2. There were no significant breaks in any Village water mains or sewer lines during the past month. No breaks =
no repair costs.
3. The Park ball fields were tilled 2 times and dragged twice. Thanks to DPW and the Town of Dickinson Hwy
Superintendent Joel Kie for their efforts. Youth baseball and softball games started July 6th. A reminder to our
residents: the restrooms in the Park remain closed.
Zoning Board of Appeals – none
OLD BUSINESS:
• Mayor Burke reports he met with Nicholas Choubah Regional Director of the DOT on Tuesday, 7/7. The
main topic is the drain problem at State Road and Chenango St. The result is that Nick is going to try to
find us funding and a design so we can address this problem which is primarily due to the water flowing
from Chenango St. Also with me was Joel Kie the TOD Highway Superintendent and he pointed out
several issues for attention.
RESOLUTIONS FOR APPROVAL:
1. Resolution approving revised Police Policies & Regulations
2. Resolution waiving the $50 fee for late water readings for July 2020.
