BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY Regular Meeting June 27, 2023 10:30 AM Pledge of Allegiance. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Lynch at 10:37 A.M. Members Present: Mayor Lynch, Joetta Collins, Jamie Lewis, and Stephanie Young-Johnson, and Scott Williams. Also, present was Clerk-Treasurer Rivas and Attorney Dan Whitten. MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING: Member Lewis made a motion to approve the June 13, 2023, minutes; Member Collins seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the Board. Motion passed. 4 yes – 0 nays UNFINISHED BUSINESS: None. NEW BUSINESS: Storage of Chemical and/or Combustible Substances Application – Amazon Data Services Member Lewis made a motion to approve the request; Member Collins seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the board. Motion Passed. 4 yes – 0 nays BULK ITEM APPEALS: None. CLAIMS Member Lewis made a motion to approve the claims; Member Collins seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the board. Motion passed. 4 yes – 0 nays MAJOR ILLNESS: Member Collins made a motion to approve two (2) MI Claims; Member Young-Johnson seconded the motion.
