City of Portage Common Council Regular Meeting December 6, 2022 The Common Council of the City of Portage met on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 6:30 P.M. at City Hall, 6070 Central Ave., Portage, Indiana. Mayor Lynch called the meeting to called to order with the Pledge of Allegiance at 6:30PM. Members present were Councilpersons Debbie Podgorski, Collin Czilli, Brian Gulley, and Mayor Sue Lynch. Also present was Clerk-Treasurer Nina Rivas and Attorney Dan Whitten. Approval of Minutes Councilperson Czilli made a motion to approve the November 1, 2022, and November 8, 2022, minutes; Councilperson Podgorski seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the Council. 4-yes, 0-nays Communications, Correspondence, Announcements from the Mayor Clerk-Treasurer’s Report Reports from Standing Committees Reports from City Officials Unfinished Business None. New Business NEO’s Childcare Center and Training Academy Center Project (presentation) Resolution #22-07, Temporary Loans Councilperson Podgorski read Resolution #22-07 in its entirety. Councilperson Podgorski made a motion to adopt Resolution #22-07; Councilperson Czilli seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the Council. Motion passed. 4-yes, 0-nays RES #22-07 Resolution #22-08, Temporary Loan Extension Councilperson Podgorski read Resolution #22-08 in its entirety.
