Call to Order, Invocation, & Pledges of Allegiance 2. Roll Call 3. Citizen Comments - Citizens wishing to address the City Council are requested to sign-in prior to the beginning of the meeting. Three (3) minutes are allowed per speaker on any item related to the City, including items listed on the agenda. Please note: The Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits council members from responding to the speaker regarding items not listed on the agenda. 4. Swearing-In of Newly Appointed Council Member Alison Novak. 5. Public Hearing: To consider public input on the proposed annexation of property that was presented in a Petition Requesting Annexation by Area Landowner. The property is situated within the R. Anthony Survey, Abstract No. 1 of Kaufman County, Texas, being all of a called 31-1/2-acre tract, described as First Tract and all of a called 2-acre tract, described as Second Tract to Dorothy Pearl Galvin, dated Aril 30, 2018 and recorded in Volume 5659, Page 408 of the Official Public Records of Kaufman County, Texas, and generally located along County Road 280, approximately southeast of County Road 281. a. Discuss and take action if necessary, on item tabled at June 20, 2023 Council Meeting, regarding the “Junk Vehicle” Ordinance. 14. Discuss and take action if necessary, on item tabled at June 20, 2023 Council Meeting, regarding a MOU between the City of Post Oak Bend and New Hope Southern Baptist Church in reference to parking. 15. Discuss and take action if necessary, regarding repair or replacement of roof on the City of Post Oak Bend City Hall. 16. Discuss and take action if necessary, regarding the Accessory Building located at 2034 Kandy Lane. 17. Discuss and take action if necessary, regarding Permit Fees. 18.
