CITY OF PRAIRIE VIEW PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION MEETING AGENDA Notice is provided for a Regular Meeting of the City of Prairie View Planning and Zoning Commission to be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 6:00 P.M. At Prairie View City Hall Council Chamber 44500 US Business Highway 290, Prairie View, Texas 77446 Consider the following agenda items: Anyone wishing to offer public comments or speak during a public hearing may do so by arriving at City Hall and completing a comment card at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to the meeting. All public comments will be taken in person, no telephone comments available at this time. Call to Order 2. Roll Call/Certify Quorum 3. Invocation Public Comments: Citizens who have signed up with City staff (see instructions above) at least fifteen (15) minutes PRIOR to the meeting will be recognized. Comments will be limited to three (3) minutes per person. The commission will listen to the comments but cannot discuss or respond to the comments during the meeting. Consent Agenda: All matters listed under the Consent Agenda are considered routine by the Commission and will be enacted by one motion. These items include preliminary and final plats, where staff has found compliance with all minimum subdivision regulations. All items Page 1 of 3 approved by consent shall be based on all staff recommendations. There will not be separate discussion of these items. If any Commissioner desires to discuss an item on the Consent Agenda, the item will be moved to the Regular Agenda for further consideration 4. Approval of Planning and Zoning Commission meeting minutes dated December 15, 2022. Regular Agenda: 5. The City of Prairie View Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing to consider a preliminary plat for the property described below in compliance with the City of Prairie View’s Code of Ordinance, Chapter 10, which shall encompass the boundary of the property as described. Information regarding the property proposed for preliminary plat is as follows: ADDRESS AND LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY : Tradepoint 290 a subdivision of 173.636 acres of land, 7,563,584.16 square feet, situated in the G. A. Dennett Survey, Abstract No. 124, Recorded in volume 1201, page 371 of the Waller County Deed Records, City of Prairie View, Waller County, Texas. 6. The City of Prairie View Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearings to consider a preliminary plat for the property described below in compliance with the City of Prairie View’s Code of Ordinance, Chapter 10, which shall encompass the boundary of the property as described. Information regarding the property proposed to be platted as follows: ADDRESS AND LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY: The Gates At Prairie View a subdivision of 29.8254 acres, 1,299,194.424 square feet, situated in the George A Dennett Survey, Abstract No. 124, being that same tract of land described in a General Warranty Deed dated July 6th, 2022 to The Gates at PV Apt I, LLC recorded in Instrument No. 2209026, Official Public Records, Waller County, Texas. 10.
