CITY OF PRAIRIE VIEW PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION MEETING AGENDA Notice is provided for a Regular Meeting of the City of Prairie View Planning and Zoning Commission to be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 6:00 P.M. At Prairie View City Hall Council Chamber 44500 US Business Highway 290, Prairie View, Texas 77446 Consider the following agenda items: Anyone wishing to offer public comments or speak during a public hearing may do so by arriving at City Hall and completing a comment card at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to the meeting. All public comments will be taken in person, no telephone comments available at this time. Invocation Public Comments: Citizens who have signed up with City staff (see instructions above) at least fifteen (15) minutes PRIOR to the meeting will be recognized. Comments will be limited to three (3) minutes per person. The commission will listen to the comments but cannot discuss or respond to the comments during the meeting. Consent Agenda: All matters listed under the Consent Agenda are considered routine by the Commission and will be enacted by one motion. These items include preliminary and final plats, where staff has found compliance with all minimum subdivision regulations. All items Page 1 of 2 approved by consent shall be based on all staff recommendations. There will not be separate discussion of these items. If any Commissioner desires to discuss an item on the Consent Agenda, the item will be moved to the Regular Agenda for further consideration. 4. Discuss consider and take action on an application for the rezoning of property located on S478000 Ferguson Heights Block 3 Lot 14 Acres 0.16 P/O .32 AC, 1415 Cindy Lane, Prairie View, TX, being Property I D: 19116 Ferguson Heights Neighborhood and being further identified as Geographic I D: 478000-003-014-000 in the Public Records of the Waller County Tax Appraisal District. EXISTING ZONING: R1-Single Family Residential District PROPOSED ZONING: MU-Mixed Use District 6. Items for Future Agendas: Commissioners may request items for future agendas at this time. Pursuant to section 551.042 of the Texas Open Meeting Act, any deliberation or decision about the future agenda items shall be limited to a proposal to place the subject on the agenda for a subsequent meeting. 7.
