Board of Review

July 16, 2026, Board of Review Minutes Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Board of Review Meeting of the Prescott City Council was held on Thursday, July 16, 2025, in the Prescott Municipal Building, 800 Borner St., Prescott, WI 54021. 1. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Gerke called the Board of Review meeting to order on July 16, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL Members present for the roll call were Michael Gerke, Dar Hintz, and Lindsey Sorenson. Matt Wolf was excused. Also present were Clerk Rashel Temmers and Isaiah Hiles from Accurate Assessors. 3. CONFIRMATION OF BOARD OF REVIEW NOTICES Clerk Temmers stated that there were no notices for review. 4. SELECTION OF CHAIRPERSON Hintz/Gerke motioned for Lindsey Sorenson to be the Board of Review Chairperson. There was no discussion on the motion. Motion passed without a negative voice vote. 5. SELECTION OF VICE CHAIRPERSON Sorenson/Gerke motioned for Dar Hintz to be the Board of Review Vice-Chairperson. There was no discussion on the motion. Motion passed without a negative voice vote. 6. VERIFICATION OF TRAINING Clerk Temmers stated that Michael Gerke had completed the 2026 Board of Review training and the Affidavit was filed with the WI DOR. A copy was located in each member’s packet. 7. VERIFICATION OF CONFIDENTIALITY ORDINANCE a. Board of Review Ordinances for Review Memo: Board of Review Ordinance for Review Clerk Temmers stated that a copy of the Ordinance was in each member’s packet for review. No corrections or changes were made this year. 8. REVIEW OF NEW LAWS Clerk Temmers stated that no new laws were in place this year. Assessor Hiles verified that there were no new laws. 9. FILING AND SUMMARY OF ANNUAL ASSESSMENT REPORT BY ASSESSOR’S OFFICE Isaiah Hiles, from Accurate Assessors, gave a summary of the annual assessment report. 10. RECEIPT AND THE ASSESSMENT ROLL AND SWORN STATEMENTS FROM THE CLERK Isaiah Hiles presented the final assessment roll book to Clerk Temmers, and both parties signed the sworn statements. 11. REVIEW OF THE ASSESSMENT ROLL a. Certify all corrections – if applicable (Wis § 70.43) b. Verify Open Book Changes Clerk Temmers stated that a copy of the assessment roll was given to each board member for review. Each board member had a chance to review. No member stated any changes. 12. APPEARANCES AND SWORN TESTIMONY BY ANY PROPERTY OWNERS AND/OR THEIR REPRESENTATIVES WHO HAVE FILED A WRITTEN OBJECTION FORM There were no objections to be heard. 13. DISCUSSION/DECISION ON OBJECTIONS FILED BY PROPERTY OWNER(S) No property owners appeared. 14. ALLOW TAXPAYERS TO EXAMINE ROLL No property owners appeared to examine the assessment roll. 15.
