CITY OF PRESCOTT, WISCONSIN JULY 15, 2021 PARKS AND PUBLIC PROPERTY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the Parks and Public Property Committee was held, Thursday, July 15 2021, Municipal Building, 800 Borner Street, Prescott, WI 54021. Call to Order: Alderperson Ruona called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm. Members present were Rob Daugherty and Pat Knox. Parks and Street Superintendent Mike Kinneman and City Administrator Jayne Brand represented staff. Also present Seth Hudson, Greg Adams and Ryan Jones representing Cedar Corporation. Ruona/Knox motion to approve the minutes for June 28, 2021 passed without a negative voice vote. The committee reviewed and discussed proposed riverfront project and plans. At approximately 5:30 pm the committee went down to the riverfront. They looked at the new courtesy dock which was being placed and discussed plans for the area between the two bridges. There was discussion on the area where the current parking is which used to be an old footing for the bridge. The discussion was should it remain as parking or change to green space. This will be discussed further. The parking along Front Street will remain at angle parking but there will be no parking on the railroad side. The railroad side is proposed to have the sidewalk. The committee then met with the owners of Two Rivers Grill and Bar. They showed the committee where they would like to extend a deck. It was explained they would need to purchase the land from the city. It was discussed they would put in a sidewalk which would lead people to the decks. It was also further discussed that no portion of the deck can overhang into public property. Ruona/Daugherty motion to adjourn passed without a negative voice vote. Respectfully Submitted, Jayne M.
