STATEMENT CONCERNING NOTICE OF MEETING Notice of this meeting was provided in accordance with the requirements of the Open Public Meetings Act and State regulations governing public meetings, including the time, date and location of the meeting and clear and concise instructions to the public for accessing the meeting and making comments. In addition, the agenda and all related materials were posted electronically and made available to the public on Princeton's meeting portal in advance of the meeting. II. ROLL CALL Also Present: Bernard Hvozdovic, Administrator; Deanna Stockton, Deputy Administrator/Municipal Engineer; Jeff Grosser, Deputy Administrator/Health Officer; Justin Lesko, Director of Planning; and Kevin Van Hise, Assistant Municipal Attorney Present David Cohen, Mia Sacks, Leticia Fraga, and Leighton Newlin Excused Brian McDonald, and Michelle Pirone Lambros Absent Mark Freda III. CLOSED SESSION 1. Resolution of the Mayor and Council of Princeton to Enter Closed Session (Open Public Meetings Act Sec. 3) RESULT: ADOPTED MOVER: Leighton Newlin SECONDER: Leticia Fraga Aye: Cohen, Fraga, and Newlin Absent: Freda Recused: McDonald, and Pirone Lambros - Confidential advice of counsel concerning pending litigation, specifically I/M/O Municipality of Princeton, MER-L-207-25 Council President Mia Sacks provided the remaining members of Council with background information regarding the pending litigation related to MER-L-207-25; 2025 Fourth Round Housing Plan Element and Fair Share Plan. Kevin Van Hise, Assistant Municipal Attorney, provided some legal guidance and answered any questions raised by Council. Councilman Brian McDonald and Councilwoman Michelle Pirone Lambros joined the meeting at 1:33 p.m. Council continued discussion and seeking legal guidance on possible next steps. ADJOURNMENT A motion to close the Closed Session portion to return to Open Session was made by Councilman David Cohen, seconded by Councilman Leighton Newlin, and carried unanimously by all members present.
