ADJOURNMENT Page 1 of 11  CITY OF PROSSER WASHINGTON 1002 DUDLEY AVENUE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS BUDGET AND FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING TUESDAY, MAY 9, 2023 Call to Order Council Member Becken called the meeting of the City of Prosser Budget and Finance Committee to order at 6:30 p.m. Roll Call Council Member Elder, Finance Director Yost, and City Administrator Glover were present. Minutes A motion was made by Council Member Elder, seconded by Council Member Becken to approve the April 25, 2023 meeting minutes. Motion carried unanimously. Accounts Payable The Committee reviewed and discussed the claim checks prepared for City Council approval. Questions included: - Credit Card Payments - Narcotics training for a police officer - Purchase of a 2nd police car which was included in the 2023 Budget - Kelly answering service Payroll The Committee reviewed and discussed the payroll checks issued April 28, 2023. Other Items Finance Director Yost reviewed with the committee the updates to the policy City Sponsorship and Community Involvement. The Committee recommended adding a spending threshold for each event. Finance Director Yost will make those updates and present them to the committee at thier next meeting. Finance Director Yost also provided updates and information regarding the Annual Report, Audit, and changes to how recreation fees are to be collected for credit card payments.
