ADJOURNMENT Page 1 of 11  CITY OF PROSSER WASHINGTON 1002 DUDLEY AVENUE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS BUDGET AND FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING TUESDAY, JUNE 13, 2023 Call to Order Council Member Becken called the meeting of the City of Prosser Budget and Finance Committee to order at 6:30 p.m. Roll Call Council Member Everett, Council Member Elder, Finance Director Yost, and City Administrator Glover were present. Minutes A motion was made by Council Member Everett, seconded by Council Member Elder to approve the May 23, 2023 meeting minutes. Motion carried unanimously. Accounts Payable The Committee reviewed and discussed the claim checks prepared for City Council approval. Questions included: - Repairs to the Building Department's Pathfinder - Police Department candy for community event - Play Sand Quikrete for Parks - Testing Kits for Sewer Dept - Tee-Ball Uniforms - Safety Kleen Drum Cleaner Payroll The Committee reviewed and discussed the payroll checks issued May 31, 2023. Other Items Finance Director Yost reported on the status of the annual audit which is scheduled to begin in July. She also presented information regarding the collection process and accounts which are being proposed for write off due to their uncollectible status. Finally, she provided information regarding the Police Department's participation in the West Benton Fire Rescue open house.
