ADJOURNMENT Page 1 of 12  CITY OF PROSSER WASHINGTON 1002 DUDLEY AVENUE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS BUDGET AND FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING TUESDAY, JUNE 11, 2024 Call to Order Council Member Becken called the meeting of the City of Prosser Budget and Finance Committee to order at 6:30 p.m. Roll Call Council Member Kellogg, Council Member Cortes and Finance Director Yost were present. Minutes A motion was made by Council Member Kellogg, seconded by Council Member Cortes to approve the May 28, 2024meeting minutes. Motion carried unanimously. Accounts Payable The Committee reviewed and discussed the claim checks prepared for City Council approval. Questions included: - corners for sidewalk and curb forms - chlorine for the pool and water department Payroll The Committee reviewed and discussed the payroll checks May, 2024. These checks included a VBO that was paid per CBA and a cash out of comp time to John Markus who received the time as a sergeant, but was recently promoted to Police Chief and therefore it was necessary to cash out the remaining leave. Other Items Finance Director Yost reviewed with Council the pre-budget preparation work she had recently completed and plan to present the information to Council at the 06/25 meeting. Finance Director Yost went on to report that the Garbage and Recycling Survey was closed, and she would be presenting results also at the 06/25 meeting.
