of $25,000 from Fire Master Equipment Inc. The transfer of ownership is contingent upon the delivery

Public Hearing regarding “Local Law No. of 2022 A Local Law Amending Chapter 118 Parks,
Waterways and Recreation of the Village Code In Relation to the Issuance of Beach Permits to qualified
Tenants of the Village of Quogue as introduced at the Board of Trustees meeting held on Friday, July
15, 2022 at 4:00 P.M.
RESOLUTION OF ADOPTION OF A LOCAL LAW AMENDING CHAPTER 118 (PARKS,
WATERWAYS AND RECREATION) OF THE VILLAGE CODE IN RELATION TO THE
ISSUANCE OF BEACH PERMITS TO QUALIFIED TENANTS OF THE VILLAGE OF
QUOGUE
WHEREAS, Board of Trustees of the Village of Quogue have proposed a local law amending
Chapter 118 (Parks, Waterways and Recreation) of the Village Code in relation to the issuance of beach
permits to qualified tenants of the Village of Quogue; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on September 19, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the adoption of said local law is considered to be a Type II action under 6 NYCRR
§617.5(c), SEQRA and will not have a significant adverse impact upon the environment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Local Law No. __ of 2022 is hereby adopted as
follows:
LOCAL LAW NO. ___ OF 2022
A LOCAL LAW amending Chapter 118 (Parks, Waterways and Recreation) of the Village Code
in relation to the issuance of beach permits to qualified tenants.
BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Quogue as follows:
Section 1. Section 118-16F is hereby amended by adding household members of tenant to read in its
entirety as follows:
F. A person who is a tenant or household members of tenant of any dwelling or
apartment within said Village for any portion of the summer season (the period from May
15 through September 15).
Section 2. This local law shall become effective upon the filing thereof with the Secretary of State of
the State of New York.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish
the following Notice of Adoption:
NOTICE OF ADOPTION
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that after public hearing was held on September 19, 2022, the Board of
Trustees of the Village of Quogue at their meeting of September 19, 2022 adopted LOCAL LAW NO.
___ OF 2022 as follows: “A LOCAL LAW amending Chapter 118 (Parks, Waterways and Recreation) of
the Village Code in relation to the issuance of beach permits to qualified tenants of the Village of Quogue.”
Copies of the adopted law are on file in the Village Hall and may be reviewed during normal
business hours.
