Minutes City of Radford Economic Development Authority Regular Meeting November 21, 2024 / 12 p.m. Foundry Site Members Present: Mr. Abram Williams, Ms. Caroline Gaskins, Mr. Justin Mosby, Mr. Jeff Cumberland, Mr. Keith Weltens Staff & Visitors: Ms. Kim Repass, Executive Director Mr. Abram Williams called the meeting to order at 12:04 p.m. A quorum was established. 1) Radford High School Horticulture / POP Program  Motion: Mr. Jeff Cumberland made a motion to accept the proposal set forth from the RHS Horticulture Program in the amount of $2,085.00 associated with the planting of flowers in the spring in conjunction with the POP Program. Mr. Justin Mosby seconded the motion.  Action: The motion carried. 2) Rakestraw Invoice  Motion: Mr. Justin Mosby made a motion to approve the invoice from Rakestraw for the costs associated with mowing and bush hogging on the Foundry Property. Mr. Jeff Cumberland seconded the motion.  Action: The motion carried. 3) Foundry Clean-up Update The Board discussed continuing to remove the brush and trees alongside the fence line to enhance the appearance as you enter the property.
