June 7, Training meeting for June 12th dual Primary Elections; The Radford City Electoral Board met with Officers and the General Registrar for Officer training at 6:30 p.m. at the Radford Circuit Courtroom for the purpose of officer training. Chairman Jett called the meeting to order at 6:30 and turned discussion over to the General registrar. At 7:30 p.m Mr. Mannon moved the meeting be continued to reconvene on June 12 and 13th, Mrs. Turk 2nd, Mr. Jett yes. Meeting on Election day at 6:00 a.m. to tour the polling places, then reconvening in the Elections Office at 7:00p.m. for returns. The Electoral Board met at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday June 13th to consider provisional ballots and canvass the results of the dual primary of June 12th. There were no provisional ballots to consider, and canvass continued until the ascertainment of results, reflected in the Abstracts, on file in the Elections office and made a part of these minutes. Having no further business, the General Registrar was directed to distribute the result Abstracts to the parties, the Circuit Court, City Administration, and the State Board of Elections. A motion to adjourn was made by Mr. Turk at 11:00 a.m., 2nd by Mr. Jett, Mr. Mannon voting yes.
