Electoral Board

Radford City Electoral Board meeting - August 10, 2022 The purpose of this meeting is to conduct the Annual Performance Review of the General Registrar/Director of Elections for Radford. Present at the meeting were Board members Guy Wohlford (Chairman), Ann Craig (Vice- Chairman), Joe Mannon (Secretary) plus Tracy Howard (General Registrar). Meeting called to order at 10:00 am by Chairman Wohlford. Closed meeting: Discussion, consideration, or interviews of prospective candidates for employment; assignment, appointment, promotion, performance, demotion, salaries, disciplining, or resignation of specific public officers, appointees, or employees of any public body; and evaluation of performance of departments, under Virginia Code Section 2.2-3711 (A) (1). It was moved by Mr. Mannon, 2nd By Mrs. Craig to go in to closed meeting. Mr. Wohlford Yes. Mr. Mannon moved to open meeting at 10:45 a.m., Mr. Wohlford 2nd, Mrs. Craig; Yes. Discussion was held about the Performance Review, and the "Goals/Objectives from the previous Review (6-25-2021) were evaluated and completed by the Board. The Goals/Objectives for the coming year were discussed. Mr. Wohlford asked Mrs. Craig to record the items discussed, and to email all members the proposed review for approval/additions, etc. Upon agreement, the Electoral Board will complete the Overall Performance, and forward it to Mr. Howard for his review and comments, if any. Once he has signed off on the evaluation, Mr. Howard will forward the "Performance Summary" sheet to the Department of Elections, and file the Review in the Electoral Board files.
