Town of Red Hook Zoning Board of Appeals Special Meeting Minutes (Approved) July 25, 2016 CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 7:16 pm by Chairman Nick Annas ROLL CALL Members Present: Chairman Nick Annas, Chris Carney, Kris Munn, Kris Munn, and Doug Lee. Members Absent: Jim Hegstetter, Tim Ross, Chris Klose DISCUSSION The ZBA discusses lead agency under the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act for the Town of Red Hook, Dutchess County, New York, Acquisition of A Portion of Certain Parcels Adjacent to Town Hall Lot - Tax Map Nos. 6272-00-312410, and 6272-00-312400, located at Broadway and 7332 Broadway, and any other business that may arise. Chairman Annas opens the meeting and asks for a motion to grant the Town Board of the Town of Red Hook, NY lead agency in the above named matter. At 7:16pm Chris Carney so moves, and Doug Lee seconds. Chairman Annas asks the board members present if there is any discussion. Kris Munn asks if lead agency, in this matter, is limited to the acquisition, or if it will also comprise construction or any other [type of development, the Town is proposing for the site]. Chairman Annas replies that it is simply for the acquisition of the eastern portions of the two, [above named], parcels. Kris Munn surmises the Town plans to extend the areas behind the [Town] Highway Garage, and Town Hall. He further notes that the attempt to purchase said land has come up a few times in the past, and that the Town has only recently had more success in working with the property owners, to purchase this land. Chairman Annas asks if there are further comments. As there are none, Chairman Annas asks for a vote at 7:18pm. At 7:18pm, the Board votes unanimously to grant lead agency to the Town Board of Red Hook, [in the above named matter]. At 7:18pm Chairman Annas asks for a motion to adjourn the meeting. Kris Munn so moves, and Doug Lee seconds. All are in favor.
