PARKS & RECREATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE TOWN OF REDINGTON SHORES REGULAR MEETING WEDNESDAY, MAY 27, 2026 - 5:00 P.M. AGENDA CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL OLD BUSINESS 1. Review project ideas from last meeting and select top priorities. 2. Nature Park sign is scheduled for discussion at June Commission workshop. 3. Restore plantings at Nature Park: Propose another consultation with Doris Heitzmann. 4. Decorative wraps for Utility Boxes: Not allowed by Duke. Most wraps you see are on traffic signal control boxes. 5. Colorful paint for crosswalks and Medians on Guld Blvd: Must be approved by FDOT. 6. Too many signs on Gulf Blvd: Required by FDOT. 7. Paint benches: consider the ongoing maintenance. 8. County Lot needs refresh: The County has an active project to resurface the parking lot, replace the chain link fence and the dumpster enclosure. NEW BUSINESS 1. Prepare for presentation of ideas to commissioners. MISCELLANEOUS 1. Next PAR meeting is scheduled for Wednesday June 24 at 5 pm. ADJOURMENT Pursuant to Florida Statutes § 286.0105, if any person or entity decides to appeal any decision made on any matter considered at any meeting or hearing of any Redington Shores Board or Commission, he, she or it will need a record of the proceedings and, for such purpose, he, she or it may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the legal arguments, testimony, and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. A possible quorum of the Town of Redington Shores Commissioners may be present for the event listed. No official action will be taken.
