NEWBOLD TOWN BOARD REGULAR and FINANCE MEETING Date: Thursday, April 10, 2025 Time: 6:00 P.M. Place: Newbold Community Center AGENDA The Town of Newbold Town Board will meet for a Regular Town Board meeting at 6:00 p.m., on Thursday, April 10, 2025, in open session at the Newbold Community Center, 4608 Apperson Drive, Rhinelander, WI 54501, Oneida County, WI. The purposes of the meetings are as follows: (1) Call Town Board Meeting to order. (2) Pledge of allegiance. Verify Agenda Notice to the Public. (3) Approve agenda for meeting with the order of items at the Chairs discretion. (4) Public Comment and Communication Period per Wisconsin Statutes whereby the Town Board may receive input on any matter raised by the public. (5) Approve prior Town Board meeting minutes of March 27, 2025. (6) Monthly Town Assessor Report by Jef Muelver, Town Assessor. (7) Discussion and action on Request for a Tournament at Newbold Rookery Run Disc Golf Course. (8) Discussion and action on Oneida County Zoning Requests, Plan Commission and Citizen Zoning Request, if any along with Plan Commission Chairman’s Report. A. Administrative Review – Discussion and Action permit application by Chad Thompson, applicant C&K Properties LLC, owner to rent the dwelling located in the south east corner of the parcel that is within the #02 Single Family zoning district where rentals of six (6) days or less are prohibited on the following described property: Being Part of the Government Lot 6, Section 36, T37N, R8E, PIN #NE 401-1, 5767 Grills Landing Road, Town of Newbold. B. Administrative Review – Discussion and Action permit application by Justin Kane, applicant and owner to rent the dwelling located within the #02 Single Family zoning district where rentals of six (6) days or less are prohibited on the following described property: Being Part of SE-SE, Section 31, T39N, R8E, PIN #NE 1731, 7296 Ross Lane, Town of Newbold. C. Administrative Review – Discussion and Action permit application by Bruce LeMere, applicant, Brittany LeMere, owner, to rent the dwelling as Tourist Rooming House for less than 30 consecutive days on the following described property: Silverbass Shores, Lot 4, Section 22, T37N, R8E, PIN #NE 2293, 4400 Rosalie Lane, Town of Newbold. (9) Discussion and possible action on Oneida County request for input on County Comprehensive Plan 2025. (10) Discussion and action on Bartender Applications. (11) FINANCE MEETING: Approval of any line-item Budget Transfers. (12) Discussion and action on WI Towns Association Membership Dues and Advocacy Counsel Membership. (13) Approval of Bills and Disbursements and sign checks. (14) Receive Finance Reports and discuss any other financial matters. (15) Administrative review and action, if necessary, concerning general government, public safety, recycling, sanitation, culture, education, job assignments, project updates, transportation, budget items, fund transfers, and future agenda items. (16) Public Comment and Communication Period per Wisconsin Statutes whereby the Town Board may receive input on any matter raised by the public. No action will be taken. (17) CLOSED SESSION: The Town of Newbold Town Board may convene into Closed Session pursuant to Section 19.85 (1) (c), of the Wis. Statutes for considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Specifically, to discuss Public Works Director performance evaluation. OPEN SESSION: The Town of Newbold Town Board will reconvene into open session to make decisions on closed session discussions above. (18) Adjournment. This constitutes a meeting of the Newbold Plan Commission and is noticed as such although the committee will take no formal action at this meeting. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board, by majority vote, may invite public input prior to debate on any agenda item. Such input, if allowed, will be closed prior to Board discussion/debate of the agenda item.
