Please notify the Planning Division if you wish to do so. All agendas are posted in the City Hall Administration Building (150 South Palm Avenue, Rialto, California 92376) at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting. Copies of the staff reports relating to each item on the agenda are on file in the Planning Division, 150 South Palm Avenue, Rialto, California 92376 and are available for public inspection. Any person having a question concerning any agenda item may call the Planning Division (909) 820-2535 to inquire about any item described on the agenda. NOTICE TO PUBLIC: To speak on Public Hearing Items, fill out a form located at the front counter in the lobby and give it to Development Services Staff. Each person will be allowed three (3) minutes to address the Planning Commission. Based upon the open meeting laws (the Brown Act), additional items may be added to the agenda and acted upon by the Planning Commission only if it is considered to be a “subsequent need” or “emergency item” and is added by a two-thirds vote. The project site is located on the east side of Acacia Avenue approximately 950 feet north of Randall Avenue within the Single-Family Residential (R-1C) zone. A Mitigated Negative Declaration (Environmental Assessment Review No. 2017-0022) has been prepared for consideration in conjunction with the project in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Variance No. 2017-0002: A request to allow a variance from Section 18.16.030A, Section 18.16.030B, and Section 18.16.030C of the Rialto Municipal Code to reduce the minimum required lot area from 7,700 square feet to 6,273 square feet, to reduce the minimum required lot width from seventy (70) feet to fifty-five (55) feet, and to reduce the minimum required lot depth from one-hundred (100) feet to ninety-five and nine-tenths (95.9) feet, related to a request to subdivide 4.75 gross acres of land (APNs: 0131-131-13 & -14) located on the east side of Acacia Avenue approximately 950 feet north of Randall Avenue into twenty (20) single-family lots and three (3) common lots.
